Today we begin an amazing segment called QuinnyG’s GOAT of the week, where I will be giving out my vote of who the GOAT of the week is. This week, my GOAT of the week is Thomas Brady.
Tom Brady came out earlier this week with a lot of posts and interview responses that lead many to believe that the man out of time is, in fact, out of time, and will retire. If this is in fact the end of Tom Brady in the NFL I think it is fair to give him some love. I used to hate Mr. Brady when I was in my youth and somewhat through high school, but when I began to mature and after Eli Manning kicked his ass in 2 super bowls, I started to have an appreciation for TB12. The guy was the 200th overall draft pick, clawed his way to a stating spot in the NFL, and became the most successful Quarterback, and arguably most successful athlete, of all time. Seven super bowls and almost every record for a Quarterback ever; Brady just isn’t human. He has been competing at such a high level for so long that it is just incredible to witness. For those that don’t like Tom Brady for whatever reason-he’s soft, he’s a cheater- whatever it is, just take a moment and realize that he is the second greatest football player of all time (Lawrence Taylor is the GOAT). Ok now I’m done acting like every person you know from Massachusetts but my GOAT of the week is Tom Brady.
